Planning a Gordon wedding, celebrating a graduation, or welcoming a new baby? Dress Gordon tartan fabric is the perfect choice for these special moments. With its classic navy, green, and white plaid, this suiting-weight fabric adds a timeless touch—especially as elegant table runners or custom décor at your Gordon-themed event.

Made from a 65% polyester and 35% viscose blend, it’s soft, durable, and machine washable. The fabric is 60 inches wide and sold by the ½ yard and yard. Orders over one yard will be shipped as a continuous piece.

We use this fabric to make bow ties, suspenders, flat caps, scarves, neck ties, self ti bow ties, dog collars, dog kerchiefs, pillows and more. You may also use it to make skirts, vests, jackets, jumpers and more.

Your package will come wrapped in tissue paper with a personal handwritten THANK YOU note. If your purchase is a gift and you would rather have a different card such as a birthday card, please leave us a note with your order.

Gordon Tartan yardage

I wasn't sure what I would do with this fabric when I ordered it. Now that it is here my husband wants a vest and I am going to make my granddaughters sashes to put patches on. It is very high quality and the color is great. I definitely can recommend this fabric if you are a seamstress.

Family tartan fabric

I've ordered twice from this company and both purchases and contact with the seller were very satisfying. Cheryl, the lady I've dealt with, is super friendly and helpful. Her "helpers" also. Last time I ordered fabric with a miniature version of the plaid. This time I ordered the same Gordon tartan fabric, with normal size plaid design. I plan to implement the large/normal size fabric design into a quilt. I plan on using the miniature sized pattern for the quilt backing. Now all I have to do is find some plain fabric, only 2 colors to complement the tartan plaid. I want the tartan fabric to take center stage without distractions from other colors. I like the fact that it can be machine washed as quilts get much cleaner than having to take it to a dry-cleaners. The material feels very nice and rich, it is substantial and the colors are spot-on. Arrives in good time and packaged very carefully and with taste.

Wonderful material, correct plaid

I ordered the miniature size plaid (same as normal Gordon tartan except that the pattern is smaller). I want to use the fabric to make a family quilt and it's very suitable for that project. I am now ordering the original size pattern to add to the quilt. It's very nice. Color authentic.
